Craig might not be my favorite Bond, but this is absolutely the shot in the arm the franchise needed! The theme and credits reflect this nicely too, I think. Everything works well together and acomplishes being embolic of the movie and modernizing the series.
Ordinarily, I’m not a huge fan of Chris Cornell (Soundgarden and Audioslave), but I recognize the talent there. In this context with, “You Know My Name” and Casino Royale, I think he was a good, different choice. It’s not especially memorable, but it’s dramatic and exciting.
The visuals for the credits are fantastic! Really great animation. I love the gambling motifs psychedelicly spiraling in layers. The style brings to mind the 1960s well with bright colors and the blocky style of the figures. Only fleeting glimpses of pictures of the cast are revealed. A lot of nice touches can be found throughout.
Bond Themes Retrospective Will Return With- Quantum of Solace
Gee. Seen the movie twice but cannot bring to mind anything about the theme. Does that say something about me or the theme? Ok. Refresher time…

Watched the film again recently. Once again, the mesmerising credit sequence totally obliterated my aural perceptions. I think they are my favourite Bond credits.
