One of my favorite songs is fortunate to have several versions/remixes to consider. First, the original (as music video)
Just breathtaking, to me. Perfect- spacey and mystifying.
Then there’s the Fun Lovin’ Criminals version (with a different vocal and instrumentation).
I love it! Now the song is a smokey, jazzy torch song. Timeless.
Next, there’s the Eric Kupper Deep Drama Remix
Not my favorite, but it’s nice to have a fast version. Sometimes, I’m really into it- great for a dancey mood.
And while it isn’t really a mix, I’d love to add its modern live performances, like the concert I was lucky enough to catch (video bellow).
Extending the end of the song with part of a a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” is inspired. The drama both songs complement each other very well! Studio version sometime? Ms. Manson and co., please?
