Los Lobos is a pretty good band, and though I haven’t really delved too deeply into their discography yet, I was happy to find a boot of them. Good sets all around at the 1996 Furthur Festival, though the shadow of Garcia’s passing the year before definately hangs over the proceedings. Yes, the last song here is a cover of The Grateful Dead, paying homage to their kindred touring band as the remaining members also performed in solo solidarity, seperate but together in honor of what once was. Eventually I’ll post the other sets. ‘Till then, enjoy!
