“Please Stay” is one of my favorite Kylie songs! Amazingly, the remixes are also consistently excellent as well as diverse. Let’s check ’em out!
The album/single was fortunate to get a video. Of course it’s luxurious to match!
The first official remix is 7th District Club Flava Mix. I absolutely love how different it is! That groove is so infectious and interesting. What is it blending? Poppy-trance and country twang? Really catchy!
And, if you don’t have the time to get lost on a dancefloor, there’s a shorter, ‘radio-friendly’ edit. It’s good, but I do really like the longer piece. More room to breathe and develop.
Finally, we have the Hatiras ‘Dreamy Dub’ Mix. Big fan of dub, though mostly Jamaican style over dance. This, however, is a prime example of a dub dance mix working. Really energetic and interesting. The vocal focus is truly inspired!
