Connery’s (first) final outing is iconic. Japan, the dome hide-out, and Nancy Sinatra’s theme, of course! It’s a nice song and I like her, but ultimately it’s not one of my favorites.
The visuals for the credits are excellent. The combination of location footage, female silhouettes, and associated shapes really coalesces here. Compare to really any other entry after; it’s a great template! Sure the special effects get better and each film brings its own unique elements, but this is pretty much it when everything boils down.
