I’m definately not a huge Broadway fan, but I’ll throw this album on once in a blue moon. It deserves credit; not just because of it’s historical and cultural impact, but for the fact that it sounds good! The songs are catchy and rocking. It avoids the cringier aspects of ‘Broadway’, which usually turns me off to the genre.
That being said, I have not seen video of the production, so I can’t speak to that side of things. Audio only, recommended.
