Solid album. Not my favorite of his, but definately not the worst. Don’t get me wrong; it is good, it’s just that it doesn’t leave much of an impression. The production is nice, the instrumentation is smooth, and the vocals are what you expect.

The 2-disc reissue does feature alternate mixes and outtakes, but none that are particularly enlightening beyond my assesment of the original album itself.

Generally recommended if you want more Gaye or solid mid-70s R&B. Definately not the top album I’d sugguest from either category, however.
