The ‘Godfather-of-Rap’ lays down one of his hardest, funkiest albums and doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to social commentary. With him, that’s saying a lot! Each song is extremely well crafted not just to groove but to and lay bare hypocracies and injustices. All with his silky but powerful voice, the skill of phrasing, melody, and a full band. The album hold up was well over a generation later, unfortunately because the issues are just as relevant today. Few answers, but he asks the hard questions. Poverty, politics, racism, etc. Moving Target might be considered a deeper cut out of Scott-Heron’s discography, but it is absolutely one of is best and is very highly recommended!

Basically, if you use my link to buy the album, I get a small cut!
