Great album. Been fans of DM for a bit, and I like how their sound/production has progressed while still maintining their unique blend of drone, metal, and psychedelia. The vocals in particular sound brighter and more separated than before. The lyrics and riffs fall into the same, sluggy groove most of the time, but with enough variety so that the album doesn’t become too bogged down.

The track “1000 Dreams” is the best of the lot by a small margin. Very heavy, dreamy, and perfect all around. The title tracks are short, sort of mood collages. Recommended.

Warble Womb

P.S.- I’m new at blogging, so here’s the ineloquent amazon associates disclaimer:

“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”

Basically, if you use my link to buy the album, I get a small cut!
