Like many others before, I was introduced to some of the greats of Rock and Roll from, well one of the greats!

Once I’d gotten over how great The Beatles and others did their songs, I delved into the writing credits and among many, the rolicking albums of Mr. Little Richard! What a musician! There’s nothing like the early days of Rock and Roll. More than the classics which the Brittish Invasion popularized for generations to come, Richard’s discography is rich, but not too varied. I’m fairly satisfied with his first few albums (which include this song and other classics: “Tutti Frutti”, “Slippin’ and Slidin'”, “Rip It Up”, “Heeby Jeebies”, “Good Golly, Miss Molly”, OoH, My Soul”, “The Girl Can’t Help it”, and “Lucille”), but am always keen to find more in the discount racks!
